Pittsburgh Steel Firepit - La Hacienda - 80cm Diameter
This model of Pittsburgh Firepit features a 80cm wide diameter bowl and is big enough for most fires while small enough to be used in areas where space is limited. The Pittsburgh range of firepits by La Hacienda are designed to develop a rustic oxidised surface over time which makes is a fuss free and low maintenance firepit that provides natural outdoor warmth. This product is made of steel and will naturally develop some surface rust. This will not affect the product's performance. The surface rust will act as a protective barrier to protect the internal steel from further rusting and burning through. There are some things you can do to help prevent surface rust developing:
- Clean the product after each use
- Apply a light coating of vegetable oil after cleaning
- Use a protective cover to protect rain
- Remove early signs of rust and apply touch ups with a heat resistant paint
